Corporate Social Media Campaign Strategy for Paychex
Paychex
LinkedIn and Twitter campaign strategy and creative development for Paychex, building on more than three years of Yancey Red managing social media marketing for several of the company’s organic brands.
Creating Corporate Social Media Within a Compliance-Driven Environment
Yancey Red developed a one-time LinkedIn and Twitter campaign for Paychex’s paperless 1-9 solution, including campaign strategy, creative concepts, copywriting, and visual assets for organic and paid social media.
Because we had already worked with several Paychex brands for more than three years, we understood the company’s audiences, brand requirements, and internal review process. That experience allowed us to develop campaign materials efficiently and prepare the final creative for compliance review.
“Yancey Red is as good as they come. I’ve seen her work through my networking group, using her social media skills to boost our presence, interaction, and that has had impeccable results. She is able to be concise with posts, while staying witty and engaging people to visit our page.”
About The Client
Paychex is a publicly traded human capital management company providing payroll, human resources, employee benefits, insurance, and related business solutions to companies across the U.S. and Europe. Its size, national reach, and highly structured marketing environment made brand consistency and internal compliance an important part of the work.
The Process
Yancey Red was already managing social media marketing for three Paychex organic brands when we were brought in to develop the paperless I-9 campaign.
We used our existing knowledge of the company, its target audiences, and its compliance process to develop a focused campaign for LinkedIn and Twitter. Yancey Red handled campaign strategy, creative writing, and visual asset development, creating multiple concepts before preparing the selected pieces for corporate compliance review and potential organic and paid distribution.
Social Media Results
The campaign was fully developed and prepared for corporate review, but ultimately did not launch due to an internal situation at Paychex unrelated to the campaign strategy or creative work.
The project still reflects the level of trust Yancey Red had established within the organization. After more than three years managing social media marketing for multiple Paychex brands, Yancey Red was brought in to handle campaign strategy, copywriting, and creative development for a corporate initiative within a highly structured brand and compliance environment.
