Yancey Red developed and managed a strategic Meta paid ad funnel to reach new audiences beyond Boca Raton and drive ticket sales. Campaigns moved audiences from awareness to higher-intent retargeting while supporting individual Festival events with targeted paid promotion.

We needed help organizing a targeted Meta Ads campaign and marketing funnel to build broader awareness of our annual festival and generate a new pool of warm leads. Yancey Red put together a scrupulously detailed and leak-proof plan and helped fill that funnel! We’ll be using YR again and again!

About The Client

Festival BOCA is an annual celebration of music, dance, literature, film and ideas in Boca Raton, Florida. The multi-day festival brings together internationally recognized performers, authors, speakers and artists for live events and cultural experiences.

The Process

The multi-month paid ad campaigns used a full-funnel Meta ads strategy across Facebook and Instagram, starting with cold audiences to introduce the Festival to potential attendees throughout South Florida. As people engaged with the ads and Festival content, warm and high-intent campaigns retargeted those audiences with increasingly relevant messaging.

We also created event-specific campaigns for individual performers, speakers and experiences, adjusting audiences, creative and spend as the Festival approached. This allowed the campaign to build broader awareness while also promoting specific events and driving potential ticket buyers further down the funnel.

Social Media Results

The paid Meta ad campaigns successfully expanded Festival BOCA’s advertising beyond its existing local audience, with 84.75% of total Meta ad spend directed to audiences outside Boca Raton, exceeding the planned 80.8% allocation. Targeting extended 35–50 miles beyond Boca Raton and included specific South Florida markets selected for audience fit.

The campaign also created a growing pool of engaged audiences that could be retargeted for future years. Rather than relying on one broad campaign, paid media supported individual performances and speakers with dedicated campaigns, allowing budget and messaging to shift toward specific events and higher-intent audiences throughout the Festival season.
