Social Media Strategy for a Business Transition
Lalo salon
Digital marketing and social media strategy for a hairstylist changing salons during her busiest month, coordinating her online presence, client communications, social profiles, and launch messaging so customers knew where to find her.
Making a Business Move Without Losing the Audience
Yancey Red created a coordinated digital transition plan for hairstylist Kimo Pope as she moved to a new salon during her busiest month.
We developed an online identity checklist to make sure outdated information and assets were removed from the previous salon’s website while her new bio, images, and social links appeared correctly with the new salon. We also updated and optimized her social profiles, created announcement posts, drafted a client newsletter, and developed a moving announcement kit with ready-to-use creative that Kimo could roll out according to her own timeline and style.
“Yancey Red was available for social media consulting when I needed her the most - during the transition of my business. My experience with this agency was thoughtful, strategic, and easy to work with.”
About The Client
This short-term client is an independent hairstylist and salon owner whose personal reputation and client relationships move with her, making a salon change more than a simple change of address. Her digital presence needed to clearly communicate the transition so existing clients could continue to find, contact, and book with her.
The Process
Yancey Red approached the move as a coordinated online identity transition. We identified every digital touchpoint that needed to change, from salon website information and social profiles to imagery, links, and client communications.
Because the move happened during their busiest month, the plan was designed to be practical and easy to implement. Yancey Red created the strategy, social posts, newsletter copy, and announcement mockups, then organized everything into a moving announcement kit Kimo could use on her own schedule and in her own personal style.
Social Media Results
They were able to move salons with a coordinated digital presence and a clear communication plan already in place. Her social profiles, website information, client communications, and announcement materials all supported the transition while allowing her to introduce the move in a way that felt personal to her business.
The project also gave her a reusable process for managing future changes across multiple online platforms without overlooking important customer touchpoints.
